Inverter help please
All of a sudden our inverter beeped and now is showing a E1. I can’t find what that means and what we need to do. We are hooked to shore power and have been for the last 6 days with no issues except for this now. We have a residential refrigerator. This is a Montana HC 331 rl 2022. I can’t seem to figure out how to get it ack to show the battery percentage

On the Magnum Dimensions CSW2012-X, E01 is a low battery code. Specifically “input battery voltage is too low (<10.5VDC)”. The corrective action is listed as “recharge the battery and then restart the unit”.

So did that mean our inverter has been running as well as us being hooked to shore power?

Could be.
If you are on shore power, turn off the inverter.
There should be a switch on the wall behind your batteries.

Should the battery disconnect be on or off when you are hooked to shore power

For the first few days after I have been traveling, I let the batteries connected so they charge up. After that, I disconnect the batteries. If I am on shore power, I turn the inverter off. The pass through function will allow the power to move through the inverter.

I have never turned "OFF" my BATTERY DISCONNECT Switch.
Battery Disconnect Switch.
The labeling of this Switch is confusing.
Ignore the word "Disconnect"
Read it as "BATTERY ON" or "BATTERY OFF"
When the battery is connected "ON", the key will not come out.
When the battery is "OFF", the key will come out.
Be aware it really does not Disconnect everything. You will still have some parasitic drains such as the propane detector, CO and smoke detectors etc. They will drain your battery if you are not plugged in or have Solar panels to charge your battery.
Remove the negative battery post if you really want to Disconnect the battery such as in storage without any shore power to maintain the battery.

Inverter should remain on all the times even if on shore power. Inverter has a built in transfer switch that will pass shore power to the inverted outlets. If shore power is lost, the inverter will start inverting 12 volt battery power to 120 volt ac. If you turn off the inverter you will lose power to the inverted outlets.
As far as the E1 code, you're batteries are low. Make sure both disconnects are on!

Agree with Tony 100%. We also have a 2022 331RL with residential fridge. Our Magnum Dimensions inverter will NOT pass shore power through the inverter's internal transfer switch unless battery power is supplied to the inverter.
