Vibrating Washer/Dryer
Recently had a Splendid 2100XC installed. When the washer spins we have vibration. We have leveled and balanced the washer/dryer and still get the Montana-Gitters when on the spin cycle. We have a 2010 324RLQ and the washer/dryer combination is in the front of the Monty on the curb side. The machine appears to be working properly, but would appreciate any ideas how to stop this vibration.

We had the 2100 xc in our last Montana and it would shake the trailer on the spin cycle like a bowl of jello. Just the nature of the beast.
We now have the separate Whirlpool washer and dryer and the dryer still shakes some in spin.

The more stable you are in your total set up, the more stable you will be when Spendide gets to rockin' n rollin' that Montana. When we set up for long(er) terms CountryGuy pulls out all the stabilizing stuff he has and sets it all up. Even better, on a concrete site, no give!
If on dirt, gravel and with no extras, there are times it does give ya the shakes.
Add heating pad and you sorta can have a massage while sitting in your lounge chair on Spendide spin cycle.

Ours really rocked and rolled before we fastened it to the floor using the leg anchors. It won't get rid of all the shaking but it will help! Another thing that might help is to wash with a smaller load. A full load that may get a little out of balance will definitely shake the Monty.

Our Monty will shake when the Splende first starts to spin, but once it gets going you don't even feel it. Now this is a new unit installed this summer and we do have the Level-Up Leveling System which may help

Ours shakes some, but we have a good king pin stabilizer under the front and it seems to help a lot.

Thanks MOC friends, this is the collective knowledge I needed. We do not have Level-Up, but would like it. We have only been putting down the landing gear and stablizers, but this winter in FL we will do more to stablize. How about this: Take one of the shelves that was removed and place it below the washer/dryer and then attach the legs to this two-layered shelf, this could help make the platform a little more solid. We could also strap down the little gitter bug. We are just glad to have a washer/dryer, although there is a learning curve on how not to get rinkled clothes.

We buffered some of the shaking with my cheapo version of trying to fix the bounce in the rig. When I set up the four stacker jacks that I use to try to isolate the suspension to prevent rig bounce, I make sure that one set of the jacks are positioned as close as possible to the area directly beneath where the washer sits. It does not eliminate the shaking but it does help to minimize it.

Wrinkles, first trick, MUST use fabric softner.
Next trick, wash only, end of cycle, take everything out, shake hard, fold (yes, fold), put back in, dry.
Smaller loads help.
I also dry parts of loads, because I tend to put t shirts in with the towels, etc. T shirts get dried first on the perma-press type cycle, for about 10 to 15 minutes, then, hung up to finish drying. Then, rest of the stuff gets dried on the normal dry cycle, till dry.
Some use tennis balls in dryer, I did not note much of a difference, so don't use anymore.
Happy washing!

Our shaking was significantly reduced after I added the JT STrongarm stabilizers. Still shakes some, but does not rattle the whole trailer.
