Guadalupe RV Resort--Kerville, Tx

Has anyone stayed at Guadalupe RV Resort in Kerville, Texas. How is the climate there compared to Florida? We spent winters in Casa Grande, Az and in Titusville, Fl, but never in Texas. Thinking of trying Texas.

That is where the spring rally will be held. You would be in the Texas Hill Country and cold weather is virtually a certainty. we have some people on here who live near there and they should be along with more information

I have stayed at the Guadalupe River Resort, but only in April when the weather was great. But I have been in the hill country around that area many times over the years and can say for a fact that it can and does get cold there. Sometimes some ice/snow in the mix. But the cold spells are generally short lived and turns back warm within a few days, until the next cold front come rolling thru. In Dec/Jan/Feb, you may be playing golf in short sleeves one day and bundled up in your heaviest coat the next.

We are in Bandera, about 20 miles south of Kerrville. The nights have gone into the upper 20s and the days sunny and high 50s to low 70s. We got here about a week ago when they were just finishing the first real rainfall they have had in a long while. Had been in a draught, lowering lake levels, streams etc. Beautiful area and 60 miles from Llano where there is Cooper's Old Time Pit BBQ, probably the best I have had.
