We ask for your prayers-Final Update
My mother-in-law had surgery two days ago on the 6th. She is 84 and is not doing well today. She is very disoriented and they think she has an infection. She was supposed to be going home tomorrow; but, I don't think this will happen. She has been living in an assisted living home; but, may have to go to a nursing home for a few weeks when she does get to go home. I have seen how powerful the MOC prayer requests are and the DW and I ask for you prayers for her mom. Her name is Elizabeth.

A prayer request for the "Great Physician" to heal and comfort Elizabeth has been sent. Faith in healing accompanied the prayer, since in faith lies the promises. May your entire family take comfort in the fact that our Lord always has the right plans in mind, but through prayer, we can influence those plans for the good. Update:
My mother-in-law has had a set-back. It was determined yesterday that she has had a pretty bad stroke. It is affecting her left side and her speech. The Dr told us yesterday that the next 72 hours would tell if she was going to have another one or if she would stabilize. If she stabilizes then she could start repairing and improving over the next 60 days. After the 60 day window the Neurologist says there would be almost no improvements. She is a Christian, and ever since she lost her husband 7 years ago she has been ready to go to Heaven. We don't want to be selfish but we are not ready to lose her just yet. But, we know God is in charge and his will, will be done. So we ask that you continue to pray for her and ask if it is Gods will that she will improve and be able to speak, and stay with us a little longer. Thanks for all the prayers the MOC community is sending up for her.

Update 2
Well, this just proves prayer works. When we went to see her today she was a little improved. Her speech was a little clearer, and she can move her left leg a little. She still has not moved her left arm; but, God has been good and given her a little improvement. She told me she loved me tonight, and I could understand everything she said. God is great. Please keep up the prayers for her continued improvement. What an awesome group the MOC family is.
