Pics Cathy took of the Dock Duck Invasion

Momma Duck finally got her job done and the hatch occurred on Friday. The ducks were a joyous and awesome sight to behold. Cathy called me at work when they started popping out of their eggs. She took about a hundred pictures over the course of the next couple of hours and I decided to let the MOC share some of the best ones she took. We still never got a final count but the most we saw at one time was thirteen of the little cuties. Here is the proud Momma with her ducklings:

The little guys learn early, here are a couple of the braver ones waiting for the barbecue season to begin:

Momma takes a few for a swim shortly after they joined the world:

Definitely a neat occasion, the entire family has already skedaddled away from the dock, we will keep an eye out for the family flotilla on the river!!

Bingo

Cathy thought we had the dock back since the first family had departed. Looked down on the dock this morning, and lo and behold there is a white duck sitting in the other flower pot now. Here we go again!!!!!
