Storm damage in Michigan
This is one picture I selected from many of tornado damage at the Pine Ridge campground in Birch Run Michigan. According to media reports, there were no serious injuries, though damage was quite extensive. I found this particular picture interesting for obvious reasons. The Montana appears unscathed, while twenty feet away.....well you can see for yourself. Glad no one was hurt seriously. Some of you may recall, Pine Ridge is where the Great Lakes Rally was schedules and then cancelled last year.

Thank goodness there were no serious injuries. Still many lives, perhaps many summer plans have been altered.

Before the Portland, MI tornado hit, it passed us about a mile away on Grand river Ave. The first wave went thru and I thought the worst was over, so came back to the 5th wheel. Big mistake, all of a sudden all you know what broke loose. First indication was the satellite going out, then not being able to see the highway with the heavy driving rain, then the rock and roll party in here. Seen a lot of plants, tables, etc scooting around the campground but other than a couple window awnings no real damage. Glad no one injured in your picture, this has been a wild spring and beginning to summer all over. Happy Trails, Steve and Sjusie

First thing to do when you stop at a campground in most states anymore is ask where the tornado shelter is.
