Hitting the road

We are starting outt this morning after MD appt. Headed to Yosemite National Park. As of now I know I want to be on the west side of the GW Bridge after that who knows!!!! What a life. Thinking of heading down through Arkansas and Brianson Mo. Hope the weather that way has calmed down.

Quite a bit of rain in the Midwest over the next couple of days. Be safe.

If you come through Nebraska from the 17th-22nd stop by Pine Grove Campground and RV Park just off I-80 between Omaha and Lincoln and join us for the MOC Central Plains Regional Rally. Come and meet some of the MOC members that post here on the Forum and others that key in and read the posting from everyone!

We are just outside of Little Rock, AR and the weather has calmed down a lot. Just a shower or two in the afternoon, now and then. We hope y'all have a wonderful trip to Yosemite. That is on our bucket list... Safe travels.

Tom, if coming to Branson check out Mill Creek and Old 86 campgrounds. They are COE, about $10 a nite with your old age card. You will have to make reservations, they both are very popular. Both are on Table Rock Lake. Mill Creek is my favorite, but the hardest to get into.

There is a Escapee RV Club park in Hollister, about 3 miles south of Branson. It is worth a stop for a week or so if not in a rush. Dick's .05 and .10 in old downtown Branson will take you back to the 50's when you shopped @ Woolworth....

Have a great trip. Please do not be in a rush to get to your destination, instead make the trip the destination. I hope you understand.

Jim

A couple years ago I utilized 5 apps on my phone for navigation references, and only 2 weather apps. I just counted and now I have 8 different weather apps on my phone.

My point is with all the bizarre weather extremes the past couple of years it seems I pay more attention to forecasts then I did before. Be safe and keep an eye on the sky!

Where are you going to stay when you get to Yosemite ? I stay up at Tuolumne Meadows Campground. Its about 90 minutes from Yosemite but you can always fine a place to stay and your in the high sierra with its beauty.
Here is there link:
