Kitchen Faucet- Help Needed

After 3 years the kitchen fauucet in my 09 3075 has become badly corroded and leaks. I would like to replace it and have purchased a Moen. However the connections on the new faucet are female and smaller (1/2 in ID) than the male connections on the old ona which are 3/4 in OD. Is it possible to get adaptors or must I buy a faucet specifically for RV's?

Go to a store like Lowes or Home Depot. You need to buy hoses that are designed for house faucets. Take the faucet with you to make sure you get the right ones. You can then buy adapters that will fit onto your pex RV plumbing. There is an adapter that will just slip on to the pex with no tools. You can just cut the pex to the correct lenth to fit the lenth you need after adding the hoses. Very easy to install, no tools needed for the adapter, allows you to install in tight places with no problems. Be sure to measure the pex plumbing to get the right size of adapters.

I recently replaced the faucet in my 2955 with one from Home Depot. It came with a soap dispenser as part of the package. I had to drill a hole for the dispenser and enlarge one hole for the faucet but it was easy to do with a hole saw. The thin counter top is easy to cut.

I changed mine a couple of years ago. I've slept since then but I think all I had to do was put a nipple in the pex fitting then buy the two flexible supply lines to go from the nipple to the faucet supply. Jim

Just my opinion, but if there is a stick house option I never replace RV equipment with similar parts.

I have successfully replaced the kitchen faucet. As suggested by Rapidrobert I found help at Home Depot; the plumbing guy suggested the Watts A-124 fitting (3/8X1/2) and to discard the compression fitting. These fittings thread right into the PEX fittings on the supply lines and the Moen lines thread onto them. Now I have a nice Moen replacing the corroded mess the original fitting had become. I did find the original RV faucet online but the price was unreal- $150-$175 and no comparison in quality.

I gave up on trying to go with a home style faucet in the kitchen. Just too many headaches to get it to work. Plus my back doesn't like doing those contortions for extended periods. I ended up buying a replaced through a Keystone dealer who got the numbers from Keystone. It's a nicer faucet than the original but looks very similar. Keystone said this is the one they use to replace our original. It fit easily and we're very happy with it. It was installed about 10 months ago.
