Propane Tank
The propane tank on the west side (Sewer connection side) doesn't seem to have enough pressure to run the heater. I thought it was empty so I switched to the other tank. I just went to pull it to refill and it weighs 48.5 lbs only used 6.5lbs. I checked the hose and it is tight any suggestions?
Thanks
Bill

You could have a defective regulator or you may have opened the valve on the top of the tank too quickly. Remember with these over flow protection valves they need to be opened slowly. Hope this helps. Jim

When I had a similar problem, I discovered that I had opened the valve for the problem tank too quickly and the flow protection valve had "activated." I took the full tank (that was not flowing) out and installed it on the opposite side and did what I was supposed to do: "open valve slowly until you hear gas start to flow and then shut valve for about a minute. Then slowly open valve." These directions worked like a charm for me...hope they help you.

Same here and went with the "open slowly" approach. I did replace the red regulator valve. The new valve is a higher pressure valve I think. Don't know if it is still as much a problem or not, but I still use the slow method.

Had a similar problem, with the hose connected to the tank I removed the hose from the regulator, open the tank valve, with your thumb over the end you should feel pressure, mine was blocked, the dealer said they have had several problems with the hose. Use caution!

You need to find someone that knows how to set the regular. DO NOT TRY THIS YOUR SELF. Every thing worked on mine but I had someone that know how to do this and you will be surprised. HAVE SOMEONE THAT KNOWS HOW TO DO THIS.

The pigtail (hose) from the tank to the regulator was bad on mine. Tech said they see a lot of hoses go bad

Thanks to all.
I swapped tanks from side to side. The tank that wasn't working is fine on the opposite side and the other tank is now bad. Dealer said it may be the change over valve. Will be taking it in on tuesday with update on findings.

Gotta agree with Charlie. BTW, it is not adjustable either. Somewhere in the wild blue yonder of MOC is a post with info on a Marshall 30 PSI to replace the red junk one with. Perhaps a search will find it, or you can run without it like I do.

The tank that is connected to the red regulator is the side that is working.
