Mor-Ryde Suspension

On our 2008 3400RL Montana I was repacking the bearings and cleaning up the brakes and found that the rubber block on the Mor-Ryde suspension has a honeycombed appearance to it and appears to be deteriorating. The rubber looks like it is separating and pulling apart. Is this a common occurrence? Anyone else out there have this happen to them? Would I be safe to take it south this winter? I wonder if Mor-Ryde will replace these parts at no charge. I would be interested in hearing if others have had a similar problem to mine. Thanks.

I suggest you contact Mor/Ryde now. I used Ben Wigington 574.293.1581.
He is the service manager we used when there.

As H. John and Rich mention, Mor/ryde will take care of it. They did on mine. Rich and I took my 2007 3400 to a Mor/ryde approved shop in Orlando to have mine replaced at no cost to me.

When I had a delamination problem with the OEM MOR/ryde rubber spring, I took pictures of it and emailed them to MOR/ryde. Since I was too far from service, they sent me the parts to replace it and significantly reduced their price on a "wet bolt" kit since I was providing the labor.

I don't know where you are in Canada, but if you could, I would route your trip south through Elkhart to have the MOR/ryde service department do the work. I understand they are very accommodating.

At the same time, since you are there anyway, and if you have not done so, I would upgrade to the wet bolt and heavy duty shackles.
