non-translucent roof vent covers.

Can any one tell me where to get non-translucent covers for the roof vents.

If you can't find one, you might consider painting the inside of one with Krylon Fusion paint (or some other product for plastic). I removed the skylight to repair a leak. When I cleaned the inside, I accidently removed all the paint around the edges. I got excellent results from the Krylon Fusion spray paint.

Since we never use the vents (except the Fantastic Vent in the living area and the vent in the stool room), I just put something similar to these in the bedroom vents to block out the light so they do not light up the bedroom at 6 in the morning.
Other covers are also shown in the link.

Those pads keep it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. We have one for each vent.

We have bedroom vents covered with a charcoal colored vent cover. We got them at Camping World. They block most light but a little does get through. But nothing like those light translucent covers we have over other vents.

There are several color options shown here

and this is the one we have

I see they also have it in black.
