Cable Connection

My cable connection is not working. I cannot get cable TV through the cable tie-in. I am using the Satellite connection and don't have cable in the bedroom. I am wondering if there is a switch or some preperation I must do?

With mine, to get the cable signal through to the TV, you have to turn off the amplifier for the antenna.

I'm not sure if you are saying you get the signal when you connect external cable to coach satellite connection. If you do, then I'm not sure this will help -- the TV that's standard in our '03 model Montana requires you to go into its setup to tell it whether the signal is from antenna or cable. This is a shot in the dark, but just in case...

I am a little confused too. Are you trying to get SAT or are you trying to get cable TV? I would think there would be two different connections.

Does Cable TV work?
Does Sat work.
Does the Antenna Amp work?

If you are connecting to the cable jack on the side of the 5er, the antenna amplifier must be turned off.

That is (in my case) the panel in the bedroom with the little green light, a 12 volt jack and a push button switch. That green light must be out to connect to cable TV, on for the antenna.

Thanks I fixed my cable and the bedroom tv works now. It was the antenna booster. Thanks again.
