Equa Flex Suspension Failure

Anyone other than me experienced failure of the Equa Flex suspension causing rapid uneven tire wear and ovaling of the mounting bushings ?

We travel light and rarely travel wet and only have about 13,000 km on the unit.

Is that the Equa Flex by Trailaire?? (Now owned by Lippert?)

We have that system, and so far, no, we have not had that type of issue.

That, and we are unaware that Equa Flex has ever been installed by Montana, so, my next question is, is this an aftermarket install (like ours was.)

Are you positive the tire wear and elongated shackle holes are due to the Equa Flex? About the only think that can fail on the Equaflex is the rubber encapsulated body. Several of us have had bad /bent axles straight from the factory. Some have had them replaced others have had alignments done. If you don't have wet bolts, it pretty normal to have elongated hangar holes as the stock plastic bushings fail early. There should be about 1/8+" of toe-in on both axles as well as some positive camber at each wheel. Bad alignment and or axles will peel tires off quickly. You should be able to discern a bit of upward bow just looking at each axle. There are wet bolt kits available that are relatively easy to install ... shackles are included.
