Hello:

I have a KLH Digital DVD/CD Home Theater System installed in my 2004 Montana 5th wheel (2955RL) that I purchased last October. The remote control that came with it never did work and I am not having any luck with the manufacturer. I have even sent off a check to Apex Digital who was supposed to ship me a new remote to try. They cashed my check, (2 months ago) but no remote. Anytime I call the manufacturer I get the answering system run around. Have any of you experienced this type of difficulty? and if so what did you do? Thanks

Apex Digital Inc., has a terrible customer service reputation. Check out this:

But here's some phone numbers you can try and see if they still work. I'd advise to be recording names and phone numbers and if a solution is not met within 24 hours, I'd be calling back every day.
If someone says they will ship you a replacement, ask for tracking on the shipping so you can see when they really send something. If you don't receive the call with tracking info within 24 hours, I'd be calling again. Good luck to you!

Montana isn't the only company that installs sub standard stereos. I was in a 37' Cedar Creek 5er at a fair this weekend. They hasd a 'Concertone' stereo. Yuk! Especially when you can buy a decent (not good) system for about $100.00
