Vacuum bags
Hey everyone,
This is gonna be my "pick everyones brain" day...LOL When I did my walk thru, the man said that I could take one of the Dometic vacuum bags to the store, and find a Hoover or Eureka type bag that would be much cheaper than the RV bags. Can anyone recommend a generic type vacuum bag to save some $$$, and the trouble of wandering the vacuum aisles? Any help sure would be appreciated!!

I bought the Dometic bags from Camping World. Here is a link~ http://www.campingworld.com/browse/s...22965&src=SRQB
Cost is $9 for a pack of 3. I dont know if you are going to find it any cheaper to buy a generic bag. Hope this helps.

We have not been able to find generic bags that will fit our sweeper. CW is the best chance you have as far as I know.

I tried at MarBeck, a small appliance supply house, Sears, Wal*Mart, I figure I spent $30.00 worth of fuel to try and save a few bucks......Camping World.

The smaller package at CW does not have the filters that need to be changed periodically. They use to have a larger package that included the filters. There are 2 types of filters and one is changed more often than the other. We have not found them anywhere else - in stores or on line.
Happy trails.......................

Parrothead,
Thanks for the info...at CW the other day, I found a package of ten bags, with two different types of filters included. Thanks for the heads up about the filters.

Your welcome, Jan. Thought it was important to bring up. Those ten bags will last you quite a while unless you have long haired pets.
Happy trails.....................
