we use a filter outside to filter the water coming into trailer. Buy drinking water for drinking. We have very good well water where we live and I try to fill several gallons to take with us for drinking and cooking.
when we run out we buy more.

We use an in-line filter and water softener while we are in Yuma and we have a small "beverage" cart on wheels, next to the kitchen table where we keep a water dispenser for drinking and cooking water. It will hold a 5 gal bottle, but we use the easier to handle 3 gal. bottles. We buy and fill the bottles with the filtered drinking water at a water station @ 5 gal for .50 cents. When we are in Washington state, we usually use the campground water, as it so far has been good. We also keep a small stock of bottled water for traveling with in the truck.

Mobilrvn: The e coli outbreak was in Ontario, which is a long way from Alberta. It was a case of neglecting to do his job that was the cause, not tampering with the water. The man lost his job, and if I recall correctly, did get charged as well. It would be kind of like saying something happened in Arizona, when it actually happened in Texas!
