I Found my propane leak
Just a few words about,I found my propane leak For a long time now I always smelled something in the front storage compartment, and always thought it was the battery fumes leaking out of there storage boxes, I just filled my tanks and I knew for a fact because I weighed them ( empty 23.4 lbs. ) I had 40 lbs in that tank ( Full 53.4 lbs ) and they dont go empty in two days, It seems that the 1/2 " black pipe that goes across the front compartment are either threded poorly or the connecter that is mounted on the end of the pipe is not compatable with a pipe thred, they did put excessive amounts of pipe dope I guess hopeing that it would not leak. I tightened that pipe hard enugh to where it made a squeeking noise very tight. I rechecked it with soapy stuff and it seemed to be OK for now. I never used gas like that in all of my time trailering. I can generly tell the differance in a gas smell but this had other fumes mixed with it hydrolic fluid and cleaning stuffand waxes.
