Montanas are looking better and better.

We just returned from the Birmingham, AL RV show. We got to look inside a lot of fifth wheels from many different manufacturers. We came home thinking we sure got a lot of bang for our buck. Several were Montana copies, especially the separated rear living room layout that came out this year. Is it the 3500? There may have been a few different niceties but I didn't see any that were worth the $20000, $30000, even $50,000 increase on the sticker price. We feel very satisfied that we made the right purchase last year. We love our Montana! Just think of all the extra money we'll have for filling up the gas tank.

Glen and Judy - we looked at many different brands before we decided on a Mountaineer and now upgraded to our Montana. They are the very best for the money. We have looked at all price ranges and think that Montana's are very good. We have had two Keystone products and have nad little problem with either. We bought both of ours in Birmingham.

Happy trails.

Hey, hey, all you'll get is a ditto from me. I guess that makes me a "Montana dittohead".

That's why we're on our second Montana. If there's a third, it likely would also be a Montana.

I think we're all hooked. I honestly don't see what they think justifies the inflated cost of the other units. Most did not have solid wood cabinets or anything that would be visibly more costly. A couple did get away from the motel fabric and I wish Montana would pick up on that idea. There can't be that much difference in a good sturday, neutral fabric and the motel stuff that we got. And the storage in the basements of some of those high-end units was very limited. O.V. and Kathy, we only saw one Montana from Dandy R.V. (our big dealer in B'ham). Sure wish they had brought a few more to the show.

Well, thanks a lot, Jack. We didn't even get to see it! Sure hope you enjoy it and can put lots of miles on those tires as soon as Alabama gets a little drier and warmer. Happy traveling! J.

If we like our second Montana as well as the first our 3rd may be a Cambridge if keystone can convince us to send them the extra money.
