The IOTA web pages says 13.4VDC for full load.
If you have the IQ4 there is three charging rates:
Bulk Charge 2.466 X 6 cells = 14.79VDC
Absorption Charge 2.366 X 6 cells = 14.19VDC
Float Charge 2.266 X 6 cells = 13.59VDC

Don,
My factory charger cooked a battery. I replaced it because I was on the road. IOTA checked it out and said it was ok. If I still had the IOTA I would also add the IQ4. It stages the batter charge cycle and I am told better protects it. The IQ4 runs about $25 plus shipping.
You can check with exnavydiver. He has one.

It looks like a phone jack in the top of the converter you plug the IQ4 into and use a wood screw and attach the unit to a close piece of wood. I mounted mine so I can see the charging light through the vents in the stairs. Check your converter to see if it has the plug in before you order the IQ4.

Don,
Your average converter charger isn't very good. They don't have the high voltage needed to fully charge the battery. The good news is that their voltage is low enough that they usually won't cook the battery. If a person never boondocks, is always plugged in, this won't make any difference. I don't believe your converter has the ability to be a 3 stage charger but the good news is it looks like there are some replacement units for you.

Thank you everybody for all the information, 8.1al I went to the web site and it seems the output voltsge of my converter is where it is supose to be 13.8 I have 13.5 and had the fantastic fan running when I did the voltage test so that is where my .3 volts went to.
I have a battery charger I could use after disconecting the batteries from the Monty with the disconect switch and get a full charge thay way the few lights and appliances that run on 12 VDC will still work from the converter from what I read in the sites provided by everybody, I'll just have to remember that I have to turn the battery back on to use the slides and front legs ig I do charge seperatly.
Thank again.
