350RLQ Big Sky
Any of you out there going to order the new 350RLQ Big Sky?? Now that the washer/dryer has been moved out of the bedroom, this floorplan is really growing on me? I hope it has 1 door that closes off the living room instead of pocket doors like in the 3500RL Montana.

I would be surprised if it has only one door, Dave, but you can always dream. A salesman today told us that Keystone isn't making either the 350 or 360 version for over a year. Maybe he was trying to direct us to the 340 that they're getting next week. He'd never get a sale from us. The most unfriendly salesman we've ever met.

Judy,
I heard awhile back the 350RLQ was to go into production in March... Since I am not "really" in the market, I will just sit back and wait until I see one in person. =)

Dave, the floorplan on the Big Sky website shows a single swinging door, not a pocket door. I liked the French (?) doors in the first year.

We picked up one of the new Big Sky brochures today and it still doesn't have color options.

Steve,
That is where I saw it, but I know the 3500RL has pocket doors... I hope the picture is correct on the 350RLQ Big Sky. I did ask for Keystone to put a window in the water closet awhile back, and on my trip home from Goshen I asked for a "Red" side rear marker light. They are both on the new Big Sky! I guess I will take 2 out of 3... =)

Dave--in my talks with Mike Gabbe, the SE regional sales guy at Montana, I was told that the Big Sky 350RLQ would start production in February. So whether it is February or March, it certainly won't be a year from now.
And as for the doors in the Big Sky 350, why is it that the idea of a "swinging single" just seems so appropriate for a swinging single guy like you!!!!!

I plan on ordering one but I sure would like to see one in person prior. I wonder why the chose to leave the fridge stationary rather than place it on the slide like the 3500RL?

Another thought, on the 3500RL there is a privacy accordion door between the bed and the bath. On the Big Sky it appears that it would be difficult to install because the entry closet pushes the sink too far back.

In further comparison between my 3400RL and the new 350RLQ. I just noticed the 350RLQ Big Sky does not have the wardrobe in the bedroom slide like my 3400RL Montana does. I am not sure I could do without that wardrobe?? It is a great place to keep all the bed sheets, bath towels and other larger sized items.

If the 360 is like the 3600, that is also a nice layout. The rear entertainment is more narrow than the two recliners so the LR seems larger. What you lose are the cupboards over the recliners in the curb slide because they've made that a big picture window. When we sat in one, it seemed really nice but the NCC was very low. Hopefully, that is bigger in the Big Sky.
