Ron I would like to know how Honda 2000 works on keeping up if you don't use the AC. How often do you need to use a generator, and if you think a person should buy a bigger one in the first place? We can use some input on what to do, I'd like to have one small one, but is this wise? ALL CONFUSED
We've got a 2005, Honda EU3000is & it works great & is quite. The thing to remenber is a 15k btu Air Conditioner runs at about 1500-2000 watts + a 625w Microwave runs at 625w so if you have anything else running at the same time (Max load) 3000w most likely won't cut it.

It takes planning ahead.

For those interested, you have probably discovered that similiar generators (same watts, etc.) cost half as much for a gasoline driven unit as for a propane driven unit. There is a company in Florida (Tampa) that sells conversion kits for dual fuel for about 200 to 300 depending. Just punch propane conversion kit into google to find.
