Bozeman (MT) Ford Service Dept Rocks

Sorry about the pun but could not resist. The folks in the Bozeman MT Ford dealer's service dept were terrific when we pulled off the road with the gaping hole in the sun-roof caused by the 70 mph rock. It was 3:30 and they had us on the road again by 4;45. Helped us with our insurance contact and with finding a replacement for the broken glass (which we opted to do in Spokane since it would take several days to get the glass to Bozeman). While Bill was inside doing all the paperwork and phoning with the service manager's help, Pat was outside watching some creative problem solving on the part of the mechanics. How do you get 40 zillion pieces of broken glass out of a sunroof in a truck packed to the gunnels with Christmas presents? (Yeah we know this was July but we were makin' those gas miles count!) VERY carefully! After glass removal, they rigged a temporary cover for the sunroof with cardboard and duct tape. Thanks to everybody's "can do" attitude we were back on the road and on our way again to Spokane. Just in time to hit that KOA in Butte. Thanks Bozeman Ford! You made our day!

I think it was Bozeman that also has a great little restaurant in what used to be a corner gas station.
