Fireplace on 3402RL

Has anyone had their fireplace go out? Ours just started smelling like burning wires I turned it off.

Over the years the fireplaces have had issues with loose wires and other problems. The answer is to pull it out (most have four screws hidden around the edge somewhere) and see what's going on and then call the manufacturers customer service to get the parts or help you need. Also, if you tell us the year of your rig someone with that exact model may come along soon with better info.

We have the 13 3402. As stated there are 4 screw holding it in they can be hard to find but they are there. The manufacturer is easy to work with concerning tech help and parts.

Sometimes it is as simple as dust/dirt buildup, although the smell you described requires careful look. Once you pull it out (be careful with the front glass) just plugs in the wall like any appliance.
