Finding a Dealer

I checked the Montana site and found that Noble RV in Owatona, MN was only 65 miles away. I called Monday and explained the problem and the man I spoke with said let me check and see if I have the parts. He came back on the phone and said he did and said I could bring it in today. He was very helpful in giving me directions to the dealer. We left the dealer today. They said they didn't have us down for an appointment. I explained the problem and the man told me they weren't a Montana dealer. He said it might be a circuit board on the jacks and Montana takes a month to 6 weeks to get parts so no point in me waiting around. I told him we had reservations in Oronoco until the 21st and could stay for a while. He said it didn't matter left to right about leveling as much as front to back. Just add another level block. He said he didn't work on hydraulic jacks just the 6 point leveling.

The problem is my warranty runs out soon and I can't even get someone to look at it so there will be a paper trail on it.

Make sure you caall Keystone Customer Service and start a trail with them. It will probably help in the long run.

Jan and Bill-- Definger has it right. Contact Keystone Customer Service and start your paper trail. Let them know you are on the road until you make the trip to Goshen for the Fall Rally (hopefully, you'll be there since you are #1 on the Waiting List for the Rally) and that your warranty is running out. You might ask them if they can set up an appointment at a Montana dealer for you or if you can bring it into the Service Center for them to look at the problem. You're not that far from Goshen so that might be the way to go IF they can work you in. Tiara RV in Elkhart, IN is a Montana dealer and they do excellent work from I hear also.

Everyone is right, call Keystone Customer service. If no dealer is nearby you can ask Keystone to cover the problem under warranty with a non-Montana repair shop. That's what they did for me in Deming, NM. I sent in the bill I paid and they returned a check in the next days mail. Give them a call and see what they're willing to do for you.
