Unhappy Hitch Dragging

We have a 2018 Montana 3701LK and the issue that I have is while backing into my driveway, the receiver on the back of the trailer digs into my driveway bringing me literally to a halt. I am never going to tow anything behind this 41' 5ver, I need some opinions from you veterans. I cannot afford to redo the driveway, plus we are moving in another year or so to Tennessee, just have to make it till then.

Put a roller or wheel on it.
If you take it off then you will have to put two rollers or wheels on the frame ends.

I welded skid wheels to the bottom of the hitch on my last trailer.

i have the same issue on my 2018 HC we just bought. One side digs into the driveway. I use a 2x12 on the one side under the left tires and that gives me enough clearance to get up the driveway

Given the short time you will be there, I agree you should use some 2" x 12" boards and "shim" the low spot(s) to get you clearance. That way you have the hitch if and when you want to use it.

I had a couple skid wheels mounted to my frame in the back they have worked very well for me,and have saved my bumper and back end countless times. Had a welding shop mount them for me.

There is no need for a swivel wheel on the back of your Montana. I like these. They are solid steel; very heavy duty. Your current driveway is not the only place you might encounter dips. I've have dragged on several gas station driveways.

Both are also available on e-trailer; same price.
