Keystone Customer Service.....again!
Some of you may recall about 3 weeks or so ago, I posted about an issue with the wiper seal across the top of the main room coming loose on the old Challenger. They suggested at the time that I use an adhesive sealant to put it back up into place. I did that and it didn't work. Over the weekend I went up and checked it and it was laying completely loose except where it was screwed fast at the front end of the room.
So, today I went to see Carmin. No Carmin. She was out of the office making preparations for some kind of a big doin's starting later this week.......something about a Montana Owner's Rally. Can't imagine what all the excitement is about!!
Anyway, the receptionist called some other sweet young thing up to talk to me and she gave me 13 foot of that that wiper seal brand new at no charge and it is a slightly different style. She said before I left that, "since I am a valued Keystone customer, I can get more if I need it for the other 3 rooms". Now, this unit is over 8 years old. So, what a deal!!!

Took the new wiper seal over to the Ol' Challenger yesterday to put it on. What a piece of cake!! When it was all in place and cut to exact length, it might have taken me 5 minutes to install. It took me longer to get the ladder set-up, take my scissors out of my toolbox and work up the nerve to go up than it did to snap it in place. Then, I got my handy-dandy cordless drill out and screw that sucker into place at both ends and in 3 evenly spaced places in between. I'm betting that thing will be there when I finally trade it.......whenever that might be.
BTW. Should anyone know of someone looking for a well maintained 5th wheel that has a ton of upgrades that were not even options in 2005.......send 'em my way!

We went to the service center today to meet Carman the new service center manager and to pick up a part for the 2013 Big Sky. Very nice and very professional lady. Sent someone over to the factory and picked up our part. Our service center is still the best in the business.
