Light in living room

We are proud owners of a pre loved 2004 Montana 3255 fifth wheel. There are two decorator lights in the rear living room by the recliners. Does anyone know if there is a hidden switch for these lights. We have replaced the bulbs and turned the switch on the base of the lights but they do not come on. Thought we would check before digging deeper into the wiring.
Thanks

Think you need to meter the fixture to see if 12vdc makes it through the switch. I would guess that would be your issue. Our fixtures in the rear have switches on the light fixture and use a bulb with two contacts on the bottom of the bulb, but our monte is 2013 model.

When we had regular incandescent bulbs, I blew a fuse in the circuit that feeds these lights when I attempted to replace a bulb with the switch turned on. It was a 15 amp fuse in the electric panel. You might check to see if one of your fuses is open. We have since replaced all our 12 volt bulbs with LED's.

My lights are the same as described with switch on each lamp, no wall switch.

Those little push button switches in ours are cheap and prone to fail if that is what yours has. I have replaced them in both of our living room fixtures and the two beside our bed. If you have power to the switch but no light, they will need replacement.
I could not find any switch locally that would fit that very small space available. I did find a manufacturer name on the switch. No part number, but with name and basic info I did find the exact switch available with a google search.

LED lights are not as bright as incandescent. If you read the lumens on the packages, they are something like 320 vs 400 on incandescent. We had trouble reading with the original, and of course can not see well at all with LED.

So finally (should have done it sooner) I went to HD and bought a 30 or 36 inch flourescent for around $30. It has no switch - only a standard cord and plug. So for another $15 or so I got a wall plug remote operated switch. So I can turn it on/off from anywhere. AND IT IS BRIGHT. It lights up the whole back of the rig. Reading is no problem now.

Our switches failed. Pick them up at Lowe’s or HD
