Do the police issue tickets to their fellow officers when they are in the donut shop with the motor running on the police car? I can see a big demand for the blow up doll business, will now come with a batt. operated pump and a remote so when you start you vehicle someone will always be behind the wheel.

I trust this occurs while parked on the street??? I would have a hard time believing that I could get a ticket for letting a vehicle run in my driveway!! Of course, we do live in a private subdivision (no public roads) so law enforcement cannot patrol and have to be called or have cause to enter. Sounds like more big brother as usual.

hahahaha - I was thinking the same thing about the blow up dolls Old Turbo! It became a popular thing with the HOV lanes until the city cracked down.

Bingo - They can ticket you anywhere inside the city limit, including your driveway.

Just another way for State and local goverments to get your money. We are so blessed to live in the Country (45 minutes to Wally World) and not have to worry about that problem. GBY.....

We have remote start on both our vehicles. Brad tell your local person that if he or she can steal my Truck without doing damage to the Truck while its in remote start I will give him/her a crisp $100.00 dollar bill.. And the way politicians love our MONEY it would make them happy. What a waste of time for law enforcement they should be going after real law breakers???????

I believe we have that ordinance here in Dallas, TX. It was intended for those who would simply go out and start up their vehicle and go back inside to let it warm up, no remote start, no locked doors, had several incidences of them being stolen. No surprise for crime ridden Dallas.

Sure glad I dont live in that state.
Sounds like the city or State needs money so they make up these dumb laws to get extra revinue.
I leave my truck on in the summer when the dog travels that way he doesnt cook. I do lock the truck though so any onlookers cant just walk up, open and drive off. and of course Smokey will be there with all his teeth showing and barking to.
