Tom Sawyer RV Park in West Memphis. Ark. Just across the bridge from the city of Memphis. You will like it. Great view of the river with tug boat and barge traffic up and down the river. Just about everyone from this forum stays there.

hahahaha, that's crazy, my wife and I were just looking at this park and also a state park, but we read about foul odor at the SP, so we are going to call Tom Sawyer Park to try and get a riverside spot, and, I saw your sailboat in your signature. I grew up in
San Diego and have been sailing all my life.

Thanks for the tip!!

We have stayed at the KOA outside of town and it was nice. We also stayed at the one right across from Graceland but it is very hard to find! If you want to stay there, it located directly behind the Heartbreak Hotel. You can walk to the Graceland tour place and also tour buses will pick you up at the hotel. We actually drove past it twice before we found it. Nice campground, though.

There is also the AgriCenter RV Park off Germantown Rd. Open sites but there is no gate.

If you're going to visit Graceland, there is a Graceland RV park just across the street. It's not fancy but very convenient. We just stayed there in May. Sites are gravel and fairly good sized with grass between. Bathrooms are old but clean.
