If you remember the bad Pet Food that killed both Dogs and Cats a few years ago was food processed in China. They added a chemical to boost the Protein level to get it past the inspectors, but it ended up killing a large number of both Dogs and Cats.

Thanks for posting this, Tom. This is/was Sunshine's favorite treat. To the trash the rest of the bag goes.

We've taken to looking at the 'where from' on everything we eat. Whether it be for human or the pets.

Thanx for the reminder!

$45.00 worth of treats in the trash........now what are we all going to go to as this also was my dogs favorite treat. We went to the bacon beggin strips till we can come up with something better. Mind you now, when I gave that to my dog I got the look of a mad mother inlaw!! Like to have stared me to death. They have a way about them don't they? LOL

Our dogs love carrots too, along with raw potatoes. We can't peel either without an audience of beggars.

It is good to read the labels. On everything. Pet food and people food!
Thanks for the tip on pet food.
