Two Issues

We have a 2003 310TBS travel trailer. The clear coat, (I assume) seems to be coming off of the front cap. I have dull spots all over the place. Has anyone ever had the clear coat spray replaced on their front cap? Can it be sprayed over the decals? Secondly, the lower skirt keeps coming loose were it attaches to the main beams under the trailer. I'm sure it is caused by vibration or frame flex but am unsure how to fix it. I was thinking of drilling an oversize hole then screwing it loosely with a fender washer. Has anyone else had this problem. These are minor issues, otherwise this is a fantastic trailer.

Thanks,

Rich

Rich, I had a similar problems with oxidation/fading on my 2003 Mountaineer 315RLS from continued southern exposure in the hot Wyoming sun. Tried all kinds of waxes/cleaners and nothing would work. Then tried a product called "Polyglow" available on the internet - worked well, brought back the original luster, didn't effect the decals. Applied in the early spring, water still beads like new - will see how long it lasts. Do a search under "Front Cap Rejuvination" for early discussion.

Also had lower skirt attachments loosening, so far just used oversized flat washers with lock washers and seems to be holding.
