Wine Tasting Day

OK, so the day for wine tasting will be Friday 6/10. At this point I think we will visit 3 wineries. The wineries are further apart in Oregon than California.

I will have more on which wineries and so forth in a day or so.

Let me know if you are interested in tasting.

SO the plan for a day of wine tasting is:

Leave 7 Feathers at 10 am or so and go up I5 to Sutherland and then west to Umpqua where we will visit Henry Estates.

Then south down the Umpqua river to Melrose Winery which is on of all things Melrose Rd. Melrose has a nice picnic area so we will lunch there. They only have limited snack foods so bring a lunch if you want to eat.

From there we will head south to Abacela Winery which is west of Roseburg 10 miles or so.

From there we will head to our last stop Girardet Winery about 10 miles or so away.

From there it is home to 7 Feathers.

If there is enough interest we may do a second day of wine tasting.

Please let me know who all wants to go so I can tell the wineries how many of us to expect.
