3AM the ear piercing sound of the Smoke Alarm
Yes, indeed. That little baby started screaming at 3 AM this morning. Was that a rude awakening. Turned out no smoke or fire, just an alarm gone wacky.
It was a very crazy experience as you can probably imagine. Half asleep, heart pounding, thinking MIss Montana is on Fire, somewhere. By the time I figured out there was NO FIRE!!!! I disconnected it, but peaceful sleep I did not have.
This morning I put the battery back in the Smoke Alarm and it was quiet for awhile, then it started up again. I took it outside. Took the battery out. Then walked out to the street with it. Put the battery back in and it started going off again.
So now I know I have a wack-a-doodle smoke alarm. It has been renamed the Big Faker!
