Where in Deming NM
We are on our way to Kerrville and would like to spend a couple of days seeing the caverans.
What RV park would you suggest.
Thanks

We stayed at the Little Vineyard RV Park. It is Good Sam. We liked the proximity to I-10, Walmart and highways to around the area. The sites are big enough for slides, etc. Gravel interior roads in good condition. We would stay there again, and probably will! - Jim

On a trip to California in September, this is the park where we stayed in Deming "Little Vineyard." As Bob says we would stay there again, and probably will.
But you mention the Caverns. I presume you mean the Carlsbad Caverns? Maybe so, maybe not, anyway we stayed at Carlsbad RV park which gets some pretty negative reviews, but we found it very nice. We had no problems and it is convenient to the caverns.

Dick, in Deming we stayed at the Hidden Valley Ranch it is about 5 miles north of Deming on hwy 180. It is a Passport America campground and was $12.81 per night, we stayed 5 nights. It is a nice campground, large spaces 30 & 50 amp hookups and loads of friendly people. The directions in the Passport America book and on line took us right to it.
As for the Caverns, if you are talking about Kartchner Caverns, we stayed in the campground at the caverns. They are very large sites and make it easy to visit all the sites in this area of Arizona.

Dick, we stayed at the Rockhound State Park in Deming and visited the Gila Cliff Dwellings from there. We had water and elect. but no sewer hook up. $14.00 per night + internet fee of $10.80. Great views. When we went to Carlsbad Caverns we stayed in Artesia, NM but there are parks close to the caverns.

We stayed south of Deming in Panco Villa State Park in Columbus and drove up to Deming and Rockhound State Park. We have been back several times and hope to make it back this year.
