Change detector batteries and lubricate locks

I want to thank Waynem for his post on Daylight savings. It reminded me of the rule to change batteries on all your "detectors" (smoke and carbon monoxide). I also use this time to lubricate all key locks as mentioned in another post.
There I should be good until Fall.

Good reminder. I gotta get those batteries changed. Forgot to do it last year. Then one morning about 3 am we got the low battery beep.

Unfortunately for us vacationers, all the periodic preventative maintenance gets crammed into the first trip out . By the time we run through the list, we're too tired to go on vacation NOT.

It is fun to walk through the storage lot and count how many RVs are beeping. So far we've had up to 26.
