Jim, I have one that does that also and I have tried all kinds of products and it still squeaks. I am thinking about grease next. I am going to check to make sure none of the parts go inside the unit where the grease would harm the carpet.

Not exactly sure what is meant by squeaks. Mine made some sort of squealing/squeaking noise that I could not get rid of. When it was at the service center they adjusted all the slides and since then the slides are whisper quiet.

I had the same problem took it for service, they said the rollers were binding up.They put lubricating oil on them and the squealing went away.I informed them that I use the slide spray, they told me to use wd-40.

Rich my problem is like you are describing. I was wondering if it may be alignment.

My lr slide squealed so bad you could follow the sound across the floor. I took it to be adjusted, and they spent 2 1/2 hours adjusting it. It was quiet for about 2 weeks. It started again, so I dropped the bottom cover on the left side. The slide rails(guides, tubes,or what ever), were dry and had rust on the inside where the 2 slide rails rub together. A neopreme block ,similar to the fw lube plate would really be an improvement there.I took a cheap 1 1/2 inch paint brush, taped it to a broom stick and lubed the inside rail with white lithium grease.I know that the book says not to grease it, but dry metal rubbing dry metal is not good for it either. I think I read that Keystone recommends against any lube that will collect dirt?

Recently, I had my Monty in for flooring repair. They had to pull the slides out to get to the repair. When I picked my Monty up, I was talking to the tech about the slides squealing & squeaking. He said that I should do nothing, until I can't stand the noise. I found that a little bit hard to believe.

I have got to get a brand name for that "white stuff" that the service center uses. They used it on my 3400 in April and it has NOT worn off yet and the slides are whisper quiet..They also adjusted all slides... On the 3400 a possible source of Squeaks and squeals may be the wheels on the bed when the slide is going in and out. Mine were actually not installed properly and one was not installed at all.A little dry lube on the wheels would not hurt...check it out.

I was told not to use WD-40 by the tech doing our PDI. He said that it was not a lubricant, but a water displacement water inhibitor. I was told to use silicone spray or dry lube. Too bad Keystone can't get their story straight so we end users know what the correct product is.
