Fall Rally in Elkhart, IN

We are planning on traveling to the fall rally from upstate New York (Albany area) and would like to know of any good campgrounds to stay at along the way and what do you consider the best route?

I can't help you with campgrounds but just want to say that we look forward to meeting you at the rally. Rallies are so much fun and such a great source of practical information. You learn from the pros.

We would be interested in routes from Missouri. Planning on taking I 70 East to near Indianapolis and then up. Let us know if there is a better way. We do not want to go near Chicago.

That looks like about a 11 hour trip and you would be going right by our get off on the Ohio TKP which would be about 6/7 hours into your trip. Looks like Chuck and Carol would be taking the same route. There is a campground nearby. I don't think you could all fit in our driveway..if you are interested you could stop over in this area and we could convoy over in fact there should be two or three othet Montana's joining us. We are in North Ridgeville, Ohio Exit 151 on the Ohio TPK..The CG is Crystal Springs CG it is also at exit 151 of the Ohio TPK. Lots of time..think about it and let us know

We will be taking I-80 across Iowa and stoping over near Davenport before trecking the rest of the way. We want to time it right traveling thru Chicago so we are not in bumper to bumper traffic. Anyone coming from out west traveling thru Iowa interested in hooking up let us know. I think SAndreasen will be making the same trip with us.

Ron,
I am hoping to be attending the rally as well. If I can swing it, I will be coming I-90E from Spokane,WA to Sioux Falls, SD then onto I-29S to I-680E bypass to I-80E. Will have to let you know as the time gets closer if it is going to happen for me or not.

Montana sky that would be great as you will go right by us. We will be jumping on I-29 @ Sioux City. We are not sure about doing the whole trip in one day so we planned a stop in Davenport just in case we decide 10 hours is too much. That and avoiding Chicago during busy times.

Montana Sky, that would be fun to "car(rig)avan" to the rally. Sharon & I are so looking forward to meeting some of our MOC family.
