RV Skirting in Cold Country

We looked long and hard for someone to make skirting for our Monty (had it a bit over 2 months). Everyone we contacted either wanted twice what others wanted, or they had a waiting list up to 6-8 weeks.
Two weeks ago we had to put our RV in the shop for warrenty work and just called one of the Canvas Crafters in Grand Junction, Co. Got a bid, picked our fabric and left town. Normally, our guy would have ordered the fabric from Calif. taking at least a week, but he had enough upgraded fabric from another job to do ours, so there was no waiting.
Hubby wanted the twist clips instead of the regular "push" ones, and had them spaced every 8" which is a bit extra.
Bottom Line: EXCELLENT JOB! And it was done in 3 days. Because of the upgraded fabric we chose, and the clips, it was only $200 more than what the local guys were charging and we didn't have a long wait and got much nicer fabric.

If anyone is in the Grand Junction area needing good skirting, We hightly recommend our fella. Let us know, we'll give you his name.

How are these skirts anchored to the ground?

Congradulations! Sounds like you got some QUALITY skirting.

Just curious ... As most sites are not level, I'm wondering how "tall" your skirting is? And what do you do with the excess material when the trailer is closer to the ground on uneven spots?

Thansk,
Craig
