Battery run-down

After piciking up our Mountaineer up we realized late one night that the heat had been left on at 40 and heard it kick on as the temps dropped. Subsequently I've tied in the trailer to 110 for a day, went through and checked that everything was turned of. Battery charge was back at 100% on the panel. After two days of torential rains I did a walk through looking for possible leaks and happened to notice the battery only registering 1/4 charge off the panel.

Any suggestions of what would be causing the loss of charge (ruling out, all lights, refrig, utilities being turned off)?

TIA for any suggestions (know the one thing I need do is check the water level in the battery)..
