5th battery not charging
The battery was low after driving 3 1/2 hours today. Fridge was running on propane and gave a low dc message. TV is a 2500 Silverado. Could there be a fuse blown in truck? If so would you know how to locate? Thanks for any advice.

Or you could have a fuse blown in the refer. Used to have a MH that blew the 10 amp refer fuse when changing from shore power to propane.

Your owners manual will tell you where your fuse boxes are, usually one under the dash, one under the hood, and should have specic fuse diagrams as well. Also often stamped on the box covers

Not knowing your exact Chevy, but in the fuse block under the hood, there is a or should be a 40 amp fuse that supplies power to the 7 pin connector. Blew ours once, must have hit the ground pin or something when plugging in, replaced the fuse and never had a problem after.

Yes there is a separate fuse for each circuit (Brake light, taillight, backup light, and 12V charge line).

On the Ford, if you plug in the rig with the shore power connected and hook the Tow Vehicle up, it will sometimes blow the power line fuse for the batteries. The Ford"s is located in the main fuse block under the hood. Check the owner's manual. It is completely separate from the lights and other fuses.

I had the same issue when I first pickup my unit. The dealer replaced the charging fuse in my truck (under the hood) and I have not had any further problems. I did pick up a couple spares at autozone just in case

Never checked ours, but I suppose I should before our trip later this month. I've just let the solar panels charge the batteries.

If you are new to RVing and haven't put the fuse in your truck to begin with that would be the first thing to check. Chevys don't come with the fuse intact. Had a friend RVing for two year before he realized that his truck needed the fuse. It is a 40 amp and on the Chevy it is in the fuse box ouder the hood on the driver side
good luck.
