which year had the extended table?

Hi everyone, I am puzzled with the table in the Montana's ..some 2005's have the slide and extender and others just slide. Does anyone know when they stopped with the extender? Also the doors in the bedroom some 2005 have them and some dont...dealer said the early model 2005's have them but not the latter 2005's Anyone know for sure

My 2004 2955RL came off the line in early May 2003 and has the sliding table but no extender and we do have the doors between bed and bath.

Your dealer is correct about the doors but according to Keystone there will be a pleated curtain available in place of the doors.

Keystone/Montana does "on the fly" model changes, any time they come up with a change, 2 months into the year, or 8 months into the year, they make the change as soon as they can. When we got ours they were talking about adding chairs that had storage in the seat, we wanted that so bad when we saw it at the plant, but they could not tell us if they would be available or not. Imagine our delight when we took delivery and we got the storage seats!

I am not sure, but I am wondering aloud, do some models of Montana come with the extension table and not others??

Why dont you go to an OAK furnature store and pick up one that you like, and put it in the trailer, it will probably be a lot lower in price than one from the RV manufacture.

Our 2004 Big Sky has the slider and extender. The bedroom has the sliding wood doors same as the door at the bottom of the steps. We got rid of the upholstered chairs and have oak dining chairs.

My 04 has the slider but no extender. I do have two unexplainable hinges attached to the under side of the table though.

The two hinges are to keep you table from sliding when you don't want it too. I questioned the dealer on the walk thru.

We have a 2004 3670 that we bought in Sept 04. It was one that the dealer had and we have the slider table--no extension. We have the wood doors between the bedroom/bathroom and at the bottom of the stairs also.

We have the 04 2850RK, bought it in Oct. of 03. We have the slider table and we too asked about the hinges and they told us that they were to keep the table from moving when traveling, no extension. We have the wooden door at the steps but we have the pleated curtian in the bed/bath area. We also have the dinning chairs with storage and we love them. They are really heavy and they stay in place while traveling. We are on our second Monty and am looking forward to looking at the new Cambridge, of course checkbook stays at home.

We have a '05 2980RL ordered in Oct '04, delivered in Dec '04. The dining table has the slider mechanism described above, no extension to it. Because of the L shaped kitchen counter in a 2980, the table comes right up to the counter in the regular position, and you can't get by it to get to the fridge. We travel with it in the north/south position so we can get by, then un-screw it when we set up. It has the curtain divider between bed and bath, and the wooden pocket door at the stairs.

We have a similar table but we got it from an Everest at the Everest dealer here locally. We had one of the newer ones where the top moved. I liked the table but not the pedestal because it was hard to get any room for your feet.

Hi campbud. The table top with extender became standard around the time of our dealer show at the begining of december 2004. As for the doors to the bedroom your dealer is right the early 2005's had them. They have changed to the new suite type bedroom now.
