Rubber Roofs - Cleaning

I have a problem with heights and will not go up on the roof of my 5'ver to clean it.

Is there a reason the roof has to be cleaned other than to prevent dirt from the roof getting on the sides of the RV.

I don't see the dirty roof so why must it be cleaned.

I believe that the owners manual sugguest that we clean the roof two times a year or yearly. I am not sure, would have to look it up to be certain.

I too have a problem with heights. (Just getting too old for them.) I found a kid who wanted to earn some extra money and paid him to climb up, scrub the roof, and put the UV protectant down. It was much easier for me to peel off a twenty than to peel of a cast.:-)))

We just did ours got a bottle of spray on wash and conditioner climbed up and thought I would die before it was finished. I was down for a week with a back ache, needless to say that was the first and last time I will do that. I will hire someone to do it for me.
