SlipPlate

Anyone found a source for the dry lube SlipPlate anywhere near Nevada?

It is approved lube for Superglide 16K. Superglide sells it for about tem bucks plus shipping.

If it is the teflon plate that slips over the kingpin you can get them at Camping World Or about any RV dealer.

You may want to do search. It seems to me that someone posted that they had problems using it with a Pullrite hitch. The one they are offering may be different.

You can also call Pullrite directly. They are selling this product, you will have to pay shipping and handling. Just another idea.

The Fall and Winter news letter from Pull-rite, first talked about this major maintenance improvement for the Super-Glide Hitches. The correct name of their tested lubricant is SLIP PLATE. I have the can in my hand, it is a dry film lubricant. When they announced this change, people could not find the product anyplace, it is not available at CW. Pull rite did not know that you or I could not buy directly from the manufacturer, but they could. So as a service to their customers it is available from Pull-rite. I can't wait to clean that grease off the tubes and start to use this lubricant.
Hope this helps.

Slip Plate and Lube Plate are two entirely different products. Somehow they got mixed up in the discussion.

Rich,
Here is the number to Pullrite Phone: 574-259-1520 or 1-877-PULLRITE. They will be able to help answer any questions about Slip Plate and get it sent directly to you home.

I did not want the SLIP plate..I don't have a pull rite hitch. I wanted the LUBE plate.. I thought folks were calling the slip plate the lube plate or the lube plate the slip plate....and who's on first...
