Kitchen slide screws sheared off
We have a 2016 3820FK. While my daughter was visiting, she told us to check the slides that have an external frame for screws that had the heads break off. Her friends who have the same size but middle kitchen and upper living room had the screws break in their external frame slides, causing the slide frame to pop out when opening and closing and would stay out about 4 inches.
Fortunately we have only one of these slides because there were 9 screws that had broken out of 20 and the rest were twisted. It was determined that the self-tapping screws had been over tightened which caused the screws to twist and then break.
Have any of you had this issue?
Keystone won't stand behind it as they say it doesn't qualify as a goodwill repair. This did not happen after it left the manufacturer. This was done when it was built.
