Strange Happening

Yesterday I went out to our RV to get it ready for trip South. When I got to the slide out side, to my surprise I noticed that the living room slide was extended out about 8 inches. The bed room slide was not extended.

I washed the rig about two months ago, and I have been into the storage compartment ( on the slide side) many times and it was not extended.

Any thoughts.

My thought is to do a search for MIMF from Lippert and contact him through the information you find on the thread. He is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Good Morning Bryan,

Give me a call at your earliest convenience and be ready to give me some history of your coach. My toll free number is 866-524-7821 ext 4542. This is a correctable issue but, there is some information that I need to get from you first in order to diagnose the problem.

A ham radio friend of mine told me he caused a fellow campers slides to start moving when he transmitted from his unit. The guy with the moving slides was in the site next to him. The unit was new and found to have a defective switch. Being a ham I know RF can do some strange things....

I have enjoyed the forum and learned many things about my Monty. I hope to take delivery of my new Alpenlite Portofino as soon as Western RV can steal a driver from FEMA....ha Thanks to all those who contribute to the forum. It has been my best resource for my Monty.

Thanks again

Thank you all.... I spoke to Dale who was helpful and gave me information to contact Dewalt Hydrolic. My unit is a 2000 Keystone and the slide unit is a Dewalt. I contacted Dewalt and they told me what to do. I am going to have the work performed in Florida next week.

Merry Christmas to all....

Another AAAA Grade for The Good Ole "MOC". It is terrible to see people with problems with their units, however, it is FANTASTIC to see the answers to some of the problems come up so quickly. Helps keep the blood pressure down. Band], glad you got the answers you needed and WELCOME to Florida. Hope it warms up a little for you while you are here
