Michigamee Shores - Champion, MI (U.P.)

Located on the north side of the east end of Lake Michigamee. We spent a couple nights here and enjoyed the park. Campground is clean. A beach, a small playground, and boat rentals are available. Sites are fairly large and easy to get into. Most are arranged in groups of about 10 around circle drives with angled back ins. Easy in, easy out. Sites 50 and 51 are the best for a lake view out the rear windows. We dealt with the manager, Woody, two or three times. Friendly guy.
