Spokane vicinity
We will be in the Spokane area a week from tomorrow and I haven't been able to find many CG listings in the area. I did note one rather large SP just north of town. Anyone have any info on this park? We'll be there a couple of nights.
Thanks for any leads you may share.

Can't help you with a park, but I do hope it cools down before then! It has been quite warm in this part of the country.

D and M On The Road,
Thanks for the link. I guess I should do more of the search engine stuff instead of relying on my mapping programs. It is a couple of years old and doesn't contain all the new stuff besides which it doesn't have all the CG to begin with. I had run a search on the Escapees page and found two or three of the CGs listed. I think the Alderwood park got a good rating by several folks who had stayed there.
Thanks again, HamRad

HamRad,
We have a few parks here in Spokane. If you are a member of KM Resorts they have two in the area. One is the Old American Kampground in Newport Washington. (approx. 35miles north of Spokane). The second is the Yogi Bear Camp Resort in Cheney, Washington. (approx 18 miles West of Spokane). We also have a KOA approx. 13 miles East of Spokane. There are four campgrounds on Lake Roosevelt one which is my home park, Seven Bays Marina. Second Fort Spokane(NPS Park), third Two Rivers Casino(marina, campground and casino) and the fourth is Porcupine Bay(NPS Park)-no hookups there. All four of these parks are approx 1.5hours drive away, but well worth the drive if your time here allows for it. I would say the KOA is probably the easiest and shortest distance from town. Enjoy your stay.
