arrival on 7th

Woody, We will be staying at Elkhart Campground near Tiara RV the week prior to the rally. So we will be arriving as early as we can on the 7th to help with parking. How early can we get to the site so we can drop our RV and them help others park??

Thanks Jim. I would say no earlier than 0830. Are you getting some work done at Tiara? I can be out front about that time although I think you have a pretty good idea where to go. The hardest part is getting everyone signed in. The bosses really hammer me for head counts. If you're up early and are bored up north than just come when you want. You may be on your own though. Please reference post in arrival procedures. haha

May your replacements be quick and problem free. Thanks Glen, we'll save you a spot up front. Are you going to the service center? Last time we dropped our rig there the country went into lock down and it was there for six months. Ahhh, the memories.

Thanks Fred. I wish they'd let us in sooner but they do keep pretty busy up there.

Just made a reservation at Elkhart Campground for Sept 6th so we should be able to get there fairly early on the 7th to help out as well!

Dennis

Thanks Dennis. Maybe we could have a mini rally at this campground as a warm up.

I just checked with the campground. We can get in there on the 6th of Sep. So see y'all around noon on the 6th.

It sounds like the campground is giving out more than one story. Not unusual. The fifth is Labor Day and so not much mowing, etc may get done. I hope this works out. I heard that Grand Design had 650 rigs.

With less than seven weeks to the Rally, I hope everyone is practicing their hand signals. You really don't want to go in cold and pull a hamee. Those that are planning on waving should be rotating their heads both clock wise and counter clock wise. We provide health benefits but mostly in the form of liquid pain killers. For those greeting, well you can never smile too much.

The Wagon Masters will provide all that we require. Until we think of something they didn't and then we are on our own. If you have a favorite safety vest at home that you're dieing to get out of the closet, bring it along. Sunscreen and large mugs are nice to have.

Once again we don't have regular hours. Things always come up that need your attention. The peak hours will be between 11 AM (1100) and five PM (1700). After five it will be as needed and whoever we can get. Wednesday morning will be the exception and we can use all the help we can get to get the early arrival volunteers in and set up. Hopefully everyone will come in during prime time. That's it for now. More to follow.

What happens in Goshen, stays in Goshen. Besides, we have golf carts now.
