Disk brake time

We’re about to take one last trip with the original brakes. Considering the Hydrastar disk brake kit upon our return.

Has anyone had issues with the Hydrastar and RAM trucks playing well together?

Also, I’m seeing kits with and without an integrated hub. Any thoughts on this?

I've been running the Hydrastar brake actuator for about 4 years now ... works well and takes up minimal space. Can't speak on your truck compatibility question. A separate rotor/hub assy would be handy if you were to badly score a rotor, but after 4 years of travel ... my one piece rotors still look healthy.

I have a one piece hub and brake setup now. Looks like the one piece disk will replace it.
