Cover or not to cover for the winter?

Some say to cover and some say not to cover for the winter..
What do most do?

Before we went full time the rig had to sit in Kansas. Dealing with snow, below zero temps and high wind all at once we never covered ours. IMHO the cover would have done more damage to the finish than anything I would have gained. Never had any issues without a cover.
